It’s that time of year again! Get your darts ready and come and tackle the cream of Staffordshire in their own back yard!

As we all know the “County Youth” team are alive and really kicking. Many of us older players know to our own expense especially when we come across them on a superleague night!
Well let’s “Big” it up for four of them that have been selected to play for “Northern Youth” up in Scotland for the “Youth Friendship Trophy”.
They are, Darren Whittingham, Josh Carter, Jake Jones and Jamie Landon. Give them a pat on the back when you see them.
Well with Staffs tail up who would fancy coming on first to play against “The Hammer”? Not me and neither did the lad from Somerset. Mr Hamilton wins 3-0 and gives Staffs another boost. It gets better as Staffordshire pile on more points. Captain Marvelous beats the famous Mike Gregory. Alan Derrett scores just shy of 30 av and then of course there was “Beardo”
36.66 average. Final score 10-2 overall score 22-17 to Staffs. Well done to everyone.
